I'm raising money for Children's Medical Research

As a mum I know that if anything every happened to Brady I'd want the absolute best care and professionals at our side to make sure he had every opportunity to live a full and healthy life.

I'm inspired by the work that the Children’s Hospital Foundation fund in medical research, so I'm doing my bit to raise funds for CHF by participating in '42k Your Way'.

Please help me help CHF by giving whatever you can using the 'donate' button.

The more people that know about the Children’s Hospital Foundation, the greater their impact, so please spread the word and feel free to share my page with friends and family.

Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!

My Updates

30K target hit!

During a week's break from work I was so lucky to spend some time with my Mum on the Sunshine Coast and what better place to run than the beach. Managed a great 5K run along Wurtulla and then backed up the next day with a 3k sprint followed by a 2K walk along Kawana Lake.
Was a great start to my week off and although I got sick towards the end of the week, I'm super motivated to keep my running going.

20km down, 80km to go!

After a bout of sickness (and procrastination) I'm back into the swing of running thanks to my running buddy and work friend Brooke. It is such a beautiful time of year and winter in QLD has just proven perfect for the midday work lunch run.

Thank you to my wonderful family, Will and Jen Lee, and also Ali Harris - I really appreciate your generous donations which have given me greater motivation to achieve my big goal.

Stay tuned for the next milestone update and thank you everyone for following my journey and your support and encouragement!

I'm doing 100km!!

So after a short hiatus thanks to a dreaded virus going around, I'm on the road to recovery and keen to get back into my running.

During this time I discovered that the 42k goal actually needs to be run in the month of August!! But to acknowledge those incredible people that have already showed their support I'm building on my goal and have committed to run 100km by the end of August.

So I'll continue to work towards my 100km goal (with a bit more time) and with your help and support raise more funds to help Children's Hospital Foundation

Second run and another 5K done!

Feeling so motivated and inspired by some generous donations today from my friend, Brooke, and my sister, Leigh, I drummed up the metal to brave the 16 degrees temp for another midday run, and was not disappointed.

Honestly there is no better place to run during winter than Brisbane (and I've lived and run in Scotland during winter!).

I won't lie, it felt tough today but as I was running I reminded myself why I'm doing this - for kids like my nephew Ethan, who can continue to receive the best care from the best people at Queensland Children's Hospital.

First 5K Down!

Thanks to a bit of motivation from Ruth Lee (thank you so much for your generous donation!) I got out for a lunchtime run and clocked up my first 5km.

I'm so grateful to work in such a great location - running along the Brisbane River and enjoying the cooler temps.

It was a great start to my 42km goal and a great motivator to keep up the momentum to raise funds for CHF!
